வணக்கம் ! नमस्ते ! Hello !

Welcome to Anitri Art House. I am a Mumbai-based artist who started pursuing my passion to bring Indian art forms into daily life.

I am a self-learned artist and am particularly fond of traditional Indian art forms such as Madhubani, Gond, Warli and Saura. I am currently adapting various art styles to make everyday items like trays, jewellery boxes and other home decor items

I also make personalised cards and paintings to celebrate life's milestones like a birthday, an anniversary or even an unforgettable trip with family and friends.

Browse through the collection and if you would like something customised I would be happy to do it.

The Story behind Anitri Art House

Creativity was always in the family but I did not pursue it.

I had spent over 10 years working in analytics across Delhi, Bangalore, London and Mumbai. Life was all about numbers and structured data.

This was until the birth of my two girls. Fast forward a few years and I started regularly doing art and craft with them. We would draw, paint, colour, stitch, and mould various art and craft. We would be curious about various art styles and artists.

What started as fun playtime soon rekindled my passion for Indian art and the stories behind those artisans. The more I read about it the more I felt compelled to let people know about the magic of the Indian art forms.

My passion is to make everyday objects inspired by Indian art forms. While I primarily focus on Madhubani, Gond and Saura I also seek inspiration in the small daily joys of nature.

All the art I make is 100% handmade with love and I hope you enjoy using these in your life as much as I enjoy making them.

What I do..

Indian art forms have a lot to offer.

A vibrant painting can enliven the most boring walls and an element of personalisation to your home or office space. I can help you adapt various traditional Indian art forms such as Madhubani, Gond, Warli and Saura into everyday objects like trays and jewellery boxes.

In today's environment of creating memories, you can commission a series of hand-painted items to commemorate an anniversary or any such special occasion.

Finally, if you are looking to get inspired and bring out your creativity I can help you with ready-to-color worksheets as well as regular virtual coaching sessions.
